This casual Japanese fusion restaurant is a popular North Shore haunt – now it’s giving you access to members-only tables.

 

There’s nothing quite like a blissful summer night spent at rooftop bar and restaurant Saké Manly. Where else can you get sweeping ocean views while you feast on some of Sydney’s best Japanese food?

 

Expect shareable and snackable dishes that are exclusive to the Manly outpost – such as the Spicy Miso Ramen served with pork chasu and an umami egg – and some old Saké hits, too. There’s also a standalone 40-seat sushi counter where you can fill up on fresh nigiri and sashimi and a huge selection of Japanese craft beer, sakes and cocktails.

 

Our top picks from the menu are the nori crisps piled high with cubes of tuna and kingfish; the signature hiramasa kingfish dressed in coriander-infused ponzu, lime and jalapeno kosho; and the sashimi taco loads with salmon, avocado cream and jalapeno salsa.

Get a table for two or four from Tuesday to Sunday at 6.30pm or 8pm, or for two or four from Thursday to Sunday at 12.30pm.
