Discover a slice of Paris in the heart of Sydney when you visit Loulou: a bistro, boulangerie (bakery) and traiteur (deli) all in one. With mosaic-tiled arches, brass fittings and Parisian cafe-style chairs and tables, this harbourside spot effortlessly recreates French ambience.

 

From breakfast right through to dinner, the bistro serves up a menu of unapologetically French fare, employing techniques and classic recipes from various regions of France while making use of local produce.

 

Loulou will make you feel like you’re lounging in a Parisian hotel by day, but by night it’s a totally different vibe. Sip on champagne while you eat Sydney rock oysters, hors d’oeuvres, an array of seafood-centric salads, and showstopping share plates.

 

Our top picks from the menu are the hand-cut steak tartare with potato crisps; the tender veal tongue terrine; and the impressive côte de bœuf topped with Bordelaise sauce.
