Missed out on your early access ticket to acclaimed eatery Sardine’s off-grid lunch in Gippsland? You could win a seat at the table for you and a friend, plus a night’s stay at an idyllic resort and a massage at a new spa that hasn’t opened to the public yet.

 

To celebrate the East Gippsland Winter Festival, Access is giving away a relaxing winter staycation for two on July 2-3, 2022.

 

First, head to stunning beach house Ocean Grange Homestead for an intimate six-course lunch from celebrated sustainable seafood eatery Sardine. Located in a national park, directly across Lake Victoria from Paynesville, the homestead is only accessible by boat (don’t worry, your ride is included in your prize). The menu will centre around seasonal and local produce; expect dishes made with pork sourced from Skylor Park, eggs from the nearby Forge Creek and some of East Gippsland’s best seafood – including, of course, sardines. All dishes will be paired with wines from Gippsland winery Lightfoot & Sons.

 

Then, decompress at Metung Hot Springs. Before it opens to the public, you’ll be one of the first to experience its array of spa treatments, massages and uninterrupted views of the Gippsland Lakes. Enjoy a 60-minute massage for two and a bathing voucher to redeem when they open later this year. 

 

After a jam-packed day, you’ll get to unwind for the night in a plush king-size bed at Captains Cove resort in Paynesville. Just a 10-minute walk from Paynesville’s centre, this waterfront spot is the perfect place to relax.
