The National Indigenous Art Fair (NIAF) is back with its most ambitious program ever celebrating Blak excellence at Sydney’s slick new cultural space, The Cutaway Barangaroo.

The super-sized fair runs from July 3 to 5 and includes an expanded program of art, large-scale installations, live music, dance, talks, fashion, moving image artwork, weaving workshops and more. Plus, for the first time, an exclusive opening night event complete with live music, dance and fashion.

A handful of lucky Broadsheet Access members will score a double pass (worth $80) to the debut opening night affair, which gives you first dibs on the artworks for sale. Celebrations include tunes from rising Darumbal and Tongan R&B vocalist Mi-Kaisha and the intergenerational Yuin choir Djinama Yilaga. You can also check out Mawambul, a Wiradjuri and Dharug dance work, and a fashion parade curated by Billie-Jean Hamlet.

The fair showcases works from more than 30 Indigenous Art Centres across

Australia, which new and seasoned collectors can snap up with price points ranging from $100 to $30,000. NIAF charges no commission or stall fees, so 100 per cent of profits go directly to artists at remote, community-owned art centres.

Sound good? Enter to win by completing the form below. Winners will be selected at random and notified on Thursday June 25.
