Want to attend a huge-late night queer party with live music and performance art at the National Gallery of Victoria? We’ve got four tickets up for grabs. 

On Friday March 22, the NGV will celebrate the vibrant creativity of Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ community with the glamorous Bowery Ball. Inspired by iconic twentieth-century performance artist and designer Leigh Bowery, the event is an unmissable night of drag, burlesque, voguing, music, performance art and champagne. 

Expect performances from some of the country’s best contemporary artists, musicians and provocateurs, such as Logie-nominated drag diva Art Simone; award-winning burlesque “supervillain” Ruby Slippers; jazz pianist Rosie Rai; and Dazza and Keif (the drag kind alter-egos of Danni Ray and Keely Windred). Throughout the night, there will be roaming champagne, drinks and food.
