Ready for an all-singing, all-dancing dose of royal British her-story?

Broadsheet Access always brings you the best new flicks for free. This time, members can score free double passes to see SIX The Musical Live – a blockbuster pop musical inspired by the six wives of Henry VIII.

This big-screen version features the award-winning musical’s original West End cast, reunited at London’s Vaudeville Theatre and strutting their stuff in front of a sold-out audience. The show tells the story of the infamous monarch’s six wives – Catherine of Aragon (Jarnéia Richard-Noel), Anne Boleyn (Millie O’Connell), Jane Seymour (Natalie Paris), Anne of Cleves (Alexia McIntosh), Katherine Howard (Aimie Atkinson) and Catherine Parr (Maiya Quansah-Breed) – and reclaims their narratives beyond the blunt rhyme “divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived”.
