If you win, you and five mates will stay in one of three coastal cabins at the picturesque Five Acres, where you’ll have exclusive use of the property. Each timber-lined cabin has polished concrete floors, custom-made furniture and a fireplace, with an outdoor private deck with a luxurious, handcrafted concrete bath. It’s all set on a working five-acre micro-farm with sweeping bay views, an orchard and an extensive veggie garden. When you arrive at your cabin, you’ll be welcomed with locally produced wine and a grazing board full of snacks.

 

During your stay you’ll have the opportunity to take in the Phillip Island views with an exhilarating scenic helicopter flight. You might glide across the spectacular Cape Woolamai to see massive rock formations, cliffs and caves, or spot penguins at one of Australia’s largest fur seal colonies, Seal Rocks. 

 

You’ll also enjoy a private wine tasting at Phillip Island Winery. This chalet-like cellar door, owned by a group of old friends, is known for its outstanding pinot noir. As you work your way through its current vintages, snack on Gippsland cheeses, and local bresaola and caponata with sourdough and crackers.

 

But the highlight of the weekend will be a four-course Middle Eastern and Mediterranean feast prepared by Delia. You’ll be dining in Five Acres’ recently restored old workshop – and you’ll be one of the first to experience the space before it opens to the public.

 

Delia is known for his Middle Eastern-inspired Melbourne restaurants Maha, Maha Bar and Maha East, and for his SBS cooking show Spice Journey. All will be revealed on the night, but you should expect some of his classic dishes, such as semolina crumpets with peppered ricotta, a meze course with Maha’s signature hummus, and slow-roasted lamb shoulder. With each course, you’ll have the chance to chat to Delia and learn the secrets behind some of Maha’s best dishes. A Maha sommelier will be on hand to match wines to each course.
