For one night only, the entire Museum of Contemporary Art will be taken over by music, art, performances and installations. Access is giving away a double pass to the event and dinner. 

More than 15 artists and collectives are coming together for the summer edition of MCA Artbar. Curated by artist JD Reformer, this one-off event has been described by the gallery as “intimate, slippery and disruptive.” Expect live music, performances, artworks and installations which respond to the theme of ‘sweat.’

The event also includes entry to the MCA’s Sydney-exclusive summer exhibition, Tacita Dean, the largest exhibition of the Berlin-born multimedia artist’s work in the Southern Hemisphere. 

To celebrate the return of MCA Artbar, we’re giving away a double pass to the event. The winner will also receive a $150 voucher to spend at nearby Middle Eastern restaurant Tayim. The menu – developed by ex-Nour chef Ran Kimelfeld – is Israeli mixed with North African flavours, showcasing dishes such as chicken grilled in tangy sumac and a 300-gram rib eye on the bone.
