Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival returns for 15 days of sartorial splendour this month, marking 30 years as Australia’s largest fashion event. Running from Saturday February 14 to Saturday February 28, the showstopping program is fit for the big 3-0 milestone, including premium runway shows, talks and screenings; the Fashion Forecourt, supported by the City of Melbourne, outside the Royal Exhibition Building; and another program in Geelong.

 

A handful of lucky Broadsheet Access members will get the chance to experience all the glamour and excitement with free tickets to selected runway shows throughout the festival.

Premium tickets to F*** the Invisible Runway on Friday February 27 – an event that rejects the notion that women become invisible as they age and fearlessly showcases fashion that is fabulous, edgy, sexy and highly visible for all ages. Celebrate style that’s impossible to ignore from designers such as Effie Kats, Manning Cartell and Mariam Seddiq.  

 

Front-row tickets to New Again: Metamorphosis Runway x Savers on Saturday February 28 – featuring a series of never-before-seen collaborative collections by experimental designers who’ve upcycled garments sourced from Savers. Designers like Corcorancorin, Nofunovic and Posture Studio prove fashion doesn’t have to be brand new to feel exciting.

 

Front-row tickets to Avant Garde Runway x Melbourne: Every Bit Different on Saturday February 28 – the dramatic festival finale celebrating experimental and provocative fashion forms that defy the norm. See looks from visionary designers such as Grace Lillian Lee, Richard Nylon, Wackie Ju and Jenny Bannister.
