Independent female-founded fragrance label Vabbe works with Melbourne artisans to create soft and long-lasting creamy perfume oils. Launched last year with debut scent VAFR.01 – a spiced woody musk with notes of bergamot, black currant, cardamon and cedar – the brand recently stepped into the food game with The Aroma Affair series. And one lucky Broadsheet Access member can win a double pass to the fragrance house’s next money-can’t-buy event.

The upcoming family-style lunch at Hot-Listed restaurant Saadi is the second in Vabbe’s collab series, which showcases the label’s signature fragrance through a thoughtfully curated menu based on notes in the perfume – all documented by long-time collaborator Ash Koek, a Melbourne-based photographer and videographer. 

Expect insider perfume tips from the founder, alongside a specially designed Indian feast from “two of Melbourne’s most exciting chefs” exploring the interplay of scent and taste. Vabbe perfume will also be available to purchase on the day at one-off event discounts.
