Dr Strangelove is the stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s famous 1964 satirical film. This version, from Britain’s National Theatre, stars the seven-time Bafta-winner Steve Coogan, playing no fewer than four roles.

 

The comedy follows an absurd race between the government and one eccentric scientist to avoid global destruction, after a rogue general triggers a nuclear attack.

 

Dubbed as “sensationally unhinged” by the Daily Mail and “more timely and terrifying than ever” by the Stage, it’s explosively funny and a touch unnerving.
