Sydney’s most beautiful outdoor cinema is back, and we’ve got 38 double passes to give away. But hurry – first in, best dressed. 

 

This year’s program kicks off with Steven Spielberg’s new semi-autobiographical tale The Fabelmans, which follows a young filmmaker dealing with a shattering family secret. Other highlights include Sam Mendes’s latest film Empire of Light starring Olivia Colman and Colin Firth; Guy Ritchie’s action-comedy Operation Fortune, with Hugh Grant and Aubrey Plaza; Damien Chazelle’s glitzy, Brad Pitt-starring Babylon; the Palme d’Or winning Triangle of Sadness; and the Australian premiere of Darren Aronofsky’s highly anticipated The Whale.

 

Also featured on the lineup is the latest Magic Mike instalment and deliciously dark comedy The Menu. Plus, a few nostalgic hits including Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown; Tom Cruise ‘80s blockbuster Top Gun; and 1998 Italian classic Cinema Paradiso, which is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time.

 

Arrive early to experience the “European summer”-influenced menu from Kitchen by Mike’s Mike McEnearney. Choose from double Black Angus burgers, beer-battered fish’n’chips, pulled lamb shoulder rolls, classic salads, and more.

 

From 6pm, DJs will also be pumping tunes for you to kick back before the movie. Grab a drink from the bar and soak up sunset views of the harbour, Sydney Opera House, and city skyline.
