The annual summer festival is returning to Launceston and Hobart with an impressive line-up of international heavyweights and essential local talent.

 

To celebrate, we’re giving away tickets to Van Diemen’s Band & Ensemble Kaboul: Where Everything Is Made. The performance brings together Persian music from Afghanistan and baroque chamber music, featuring old instruments from East and West – including the rubab (Afghan lute), Eastern percussion, and vocals. There are six double passes available to both the Launceston show on February 19 and the sold-out Hobart show on February 22.

 

We’ve also got five double passes up for grabs to The Party (FKA Faux Mo) at Hobart’s Old Mercury Print Hall on February 26. This late-night, five-hour fiesta is all about pleasure, play and freedom. Expect DJs, dancing, karaoke “portals” and artist interventions.
