Uproar is a heartwarming comedy about connection and finding your place in the world. It follows 17-year-old Josh Waaka (played by Julian Dennison) as he struggles to find his place in 1981 New Zealand. At the time, the rugby-obsessed country was divided over the arrival of the South African Springboks team, sparking nationwide protests. Under pressure from home and school to conform, Josh becomes inspired by the protests and a newfound passion for performing to find his own voice. He finds himself embracing his community and Māori heritage, and embarking on a journey towards healing.
Access has 20 standard double passes up for grabs to see the film at any cinema around Australia. First in, best dressed.
Tickets drop at 4pm November 28.
