The Pope’s Exorcist is a chilling new film inspired by the true story of Father Gabriele Amorth, chief exorcist of the Vatican, who conducted thousands of exorcisms over his lifetime. It follows Amorth (played by Russell Crowe) as he investigates a young boy’s terrifying possession. In the process, he uncovers a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden.
