Tender, striking, and unexpected, Bird is a chaotic coming-of-age story featuring an incredible breakout performance. We have tickets to give away, exclusive to Access members.
Named one of the top independent films of 2024 by the National Board of Review, Bird is a compelling drama from writer-director Andrea Arnold (American Honey, Big Little Lies). Exploring identity, loneliness and class struggle, the film follows Bug (Saltburn star Barry Keoghan), a single father living in a squat in Kent with his 12-year-old daughter Bailey (acclaimed newcomer Nykiya Adams).
When Bug announces his upcoming wedding, Bailey feels abandoned, a feeling made worse by her mother’s abusive relationship. Seeking attention and adventure elsewhere, Bailey often escapes to the fields on the outskirts of town. One day, she meets a mysterious and troubled man named Bird, who empowers her to change the trajectory of her life.
We have a handful of double passes to give away. Be ready on Access February 13 (4pm) for the chance to claim yours.
