Melbourne’s annual festival of laughs and chuckles is back at the end of March, running until April 21. In a first for Access members, you can save 20% on a range of shows. 

 

With more than 600 shows taking over 150 venues, this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival is set to be one of the best yet. 

 

The 2024 program features more international comedians than ever before, as well as a strong lineup of well-loved local talent such as Joel Creasey, Lizzy Hoo, Merrick Watts and Will Anderson. 

 

To celebrate the festival’s return, Access members can save 20 per cent on tickets to the following shows:

 

• Upfront (April 8): A one-night only showcase featuring top female and non-binary artists. 
• Lara Ricote (multiple dates): After a sold-out 2023 Melbourne debut, the Mexican comedian is back with a surreal and partially interactive show.
• Darren Harriot (multiple dates): UK’s double Edinburgh Award nominee is back with a new show about how his life changed for the better.
• Chloe Petts (multiple dates): the British talent charmed everyone with her polite take on big issues when she was last in Melbourne, but now she’s reveling in the joy of rage. 
• Rob Auton (multiple dates): Melbourne Town Hall will come alive with big laughs from the award-winning writer, comedian and actor
• Catherine Bohart: the Irish comedian is making her Australian solo debut with a second coming of age saga
