Movie buffs, rejoice: Melbourne International Film Festival is back with a stacked line-up of new international and local flicks. Access members can save 15 per cent on all sessions.

MIFF is back for its 71st year with a stacked program of highly anticipated new releases, some of which have only just had their global premieres at the likes of the Sundance, Berlinale and Toronto film festivals. The line-up also includes plenty of stellar local features such as Shayda (a heartfelt story of a mother seeking new life, starring Cannes Best Actress winner Zar Amir Ebrahimi) and The Rooster (which tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a hermit and a cop, played by Hugo Weaving and Phoenix Raei).
