Rodes Studio opened late last year, offering Pilates and yoga in a compact-yet-airy space where the vibe is all about building strength, finding balance and taking time for yourself. Sessions here are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, says founder Robyn Moir, with small class sizes ensuring personalised guidance and one-on-one connections with teachers and classmates.

 

This month the Fitzroy studio is partnering with Broadsheet Access to bring you an exclusive wellness day on Saturday March 28, incorporating a dynamic Vinyasa class and grounding breathwork session.

 

The afternoon starts with a 60-minute version of the studio’s regular Vinyasa Flow class, which blends dynamic postures with breath to create a continuous, flowing movement. Members will dial in on strength and flexibility, while focusing on alignment and awareness of the breath.

 

Then it’s on to a 45-minute guided breathwork session designed to regulate your nervous system, clear mental clutter and bring you back into your body. Guests can expect a mix of simple breathing techniques, light movement, and stillness to help release tension and shift your mental state.
