Gearing up to open its doors this winter, Young's Palace is the latest diner from acclaimed chef Sam Young. Young is behind the French Chinese bistro S’more, having cut his teeth in the kitchens at Mr Wong, Totti’s and Lotus 2.0.

The restaurant draws inspiration from the dining experiences Young and his partner Grace Chen have had in Chinatowns all over the world, a concept they describe as a “love letter to the immigrant experience”. The menu will focus on comforting dishes that are simple, unfussy and done well, and there’s a beautiful wine list to go with it.

At our Readers’ Preview, you’ll enjoy a custom set menu of those heartwarming comfort foods. Think crab wonton with sweet chilli; enoki and green bean salad; chicken and corn soup; fried rice; and ginger soy scallops. All with complementary wine pairings.
