Gillian Anderson, Vanessa Kirby and Ben Foster lead the cast in Tennessee Williams’s influential work, originally performed on Broadway in 1947. It’s a tale of sex, death, fantasy and – of course – desire, all set in postwar America. This version, directed by Benedict Andrews and filmed in 2014, remains one of NT Live’s most popular titles.
