Nab Yourself Some of the Best Seats to See The Australian Ballet’s Kunstkamer at the Sydney Opera House
Enjoy an evening at the ballet on us, with 20 A-Reserve double passes to an ambitious new performance by the Australian Ballet up for grabs. First in, best dressed.
This is your chance to see the two-act contemporary ballet Kunstkamer up close. The Australian Ballet has saved Broadsheet Access members the best seats in the house at its Sydney Opera House performances on May 2 and 4 – valued at $450 per double pass.
Inspired by the 18th-century cabinet of curiosities – a concept that brings together diverse elements into an eclectic and fascinating whole – Kunstkamer is an unforgettable ensemble of works combining stark movement, song, film and spoken word. These elements are bound together by recurring motifs, live musicians, instruments and a mysterious two-level space enclosed by grand neoclassical-style facades.
“What unfolds is a world of curiosity and beauty,” says artistic director David Hallberg.
The entire company of 80 dancers is involved in this contemporary dance performance, including Hallberg himself.
Featuring music from Beethoven to Janis Joplin, Kunstkamer is a joint creation by four of the world’s most celebrated dance makers: Paul Lightfoot and Sol León; Marco Goecke and Crystal Pite.
These seats are located in the A-Reserve section, so you won’t find better than this. Enter your details and date preference below to redeem one of 20 double passes to Kunstkamer. But hurry – first in, best dressed.
