The popular St Kilda spot is hosting a one-off high tea with cult patisserie Black Star Pastry to celebrate Mother’s Day. It’s expected to sell out fast, but we're giving you access to exclusive tables 24 hours before tickets open to the public.
The Prince Hotel is teaming up with the wildly popular Black Star Pastry for a limited Sunday high tea series in May. It launches on May 14 for Mother’s Day with an intimate feast of canapés, cakes and cocktails.
There’ll be savoury bites from Prince executive chef Dan Cooper, including a pressed fig tartlet with pine nut and fennel pollen, prosciutto and gruyere served with pumpkin bread, and rosti with smoked swordfish.
Picture-perfect desserts, of course, come courtesy of Black Star Pastry, and include its mega-famous strawberry-watermelon cake, Bushwalk Bites (made with lemon-myrtle lamington) and orange cake.
Mocktails and cocktails are inspired by Black Star’s three signature desserts: a minty watermelon Daiquiri; raspberry and lychee rose soda; and a spiced strawberry milkshake.
It’s the sweetest way to spend the morning, whether with Mum, friends or family. Members spots are limited – book now via the link below.
The Black Star Pastry High Tea series launches on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 14, and runs each Sunday until the end of the month. Tickets are $95 per person and include a welcome cocktail and the full menu.
