Global art phenom Affordable Art Fair returns to Carriageworks for its fifth Sydney outing this November, showcasing thousands of original works priced from $100 to $10,000 – all available to purchase and take home on the day.

More than 75 Australian galleries are participating in the fun and inclusive event aimed at first-time art buyers as much as seasoned collectors.

Sydney galleries like Hamley Studio of Fine Art and Becker Minty will join NSW regional favourites (Jumbled, Tyger Gallery) and interstate outfits (Outre Gallery, KEAP Collective) to showcase paintings, drawings, sculptures and textiles from emerging and established artists.

In addition to all the contemporary works for sale, visitors will enjoy live painting demos, interactive installations and family-friendly activities throughout the fair.

Guests can check out Gold Coast artist Chris Riley’s Blue Sky World, an interactive and Instagram-worthy space dedicated to his hyperreal poolside paintings. Or head to the Artist in Action pop-up studios for a chance to meet local makers and watch artworks come to life. Young attendees will particularly dig the Kaleidoscope Children’s Art Studio x Claudio Kirac – a bold and trippy world inspired by toys, kawaii culture and all things collectible.
