The Big Design Market’s “Almost Winter” shopping extravaganza is coming up soon, with 250+ designers and makers selling exclusive wares at Carlton’s grand Royal Exhibition Building.

This year’s food and drink stallholders include Broadsheet favourites Ca Com, Posh Crumpets, Mat’s Hot Shop, Wonder Pies, Six-Eyed Scorpion chilli oils, Acide pickles, Chappy’s Chips and Cannoleria pastries. 

Over on the non-edible side of things, you’ll find homewares, ceramics, fashion, jewellery, toys, tech accessories, books, art and stationery, with brands like Authete Studio ceramics, Ficifolia Fragrances, Gliese 504 scrunchies, Lost Towels, Ricordino prints, TS Makers chopping boards, Ukoo skincare and Lucky Things plant stands.

Plus, there are gorgeous art installations – and a kids’ creative play space – designed by local guest artist Xue Fei Art.
