This March, Broadsheet is transforming Hector’s Deli into a night-time bistro with France-Soir. Tickets are very limited but Access has exclusive spots for two of the nights. 

 

As part of this year’s Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, South Yarra bistro France-Soir and sandwich heavyweight Hector’s Deli are coming together for four nights only. Hector’s Deli in Fitzroy will transform into a night-time bistro, offering steak and omelette sandwiches paired with a glass of wine. 

 

"France-Soir is a very special place to me, and that’s why this collaboration is maybe the height of my career,” shares head chef Dom Wilton. 

 

On the menu there’s a sirloin steak sandwich with cornichon relish, semi-spicy horseradish sauce, and a blanket of melted provolone cheese, served with a side of France Soir’s top-secret pepper sauce. Vegetarians can enjoy an egg omelette sandwich with goat’s cheese and a caper, parsley and dill salad, topped with France Soir’s renowned bearnaise sauce. Both options come with shoestring fries and a glass of beaujolais village. 

 

This event is in high demand, but Access has secured an exclusive allocation of seats at each 6pm session on March 21 & 22 just for members.
