From 9 June - 9 July, the East Gippsland Winter Festival returns with a jam-packed program celebrating and showcasing regional food, art, music and culture. A highlight of the three-week program is the Nicholson River Trestle Bridge Long Table Lunch – a one-off dining experience showcasing the best produce and views of the region. Perched 50 metres above the river, you will enjoy a three-course feast celebrating local producers of food and wine, hosted by The Local Metung in collaboration with Nicholson General Store. Sit back and enjoy live music, exceptional views and an array of delectable dishes such as a Middle Eastern-inspired Forge Creek lamb salad and pizza served straight from The Local’s catering truck with wood fired oven.
