Sydney’s annual festival of light, music and ideas returns this year with a brand new pillar: Vivid Food. A highlight of the program is Warakirri, an intimate First Nations dining experience at Carriageworks. On June 15, enjoy a five-course feast crafted by renowned Ngemba Weilwan chef Sharon Winsor using native ingredients sourced on Gadigal land. Fusing modern and traditional techniques, this feast celebrates more than 60,000 years of Indigenous food culture. Each course will be carefully paired with Australian drops selected by Tim Pelquest-Hunt, winemaker at storied Barossa Valley vineyard Orlando. Access members will even receive a bottle to take home.

There will also be a ceremonial welcome to country and traditional performance on the night, followed by a Q&A with Sharon Winsor and Broadsheet Sydney editor Emma Joyce. Guests will also have exclusive after-hours access to The National 4 exhibition at Carriageworks, showcasing some of the best contemporary works from across the country by artists including Katie West, Jason Phu and more.
