Experience this lavish bistro with the Broadsheet Table. Start with champagne and surprise snacks before moving on to an elegant five-course menu served personally by the head chef. 

 

Chancery Lane is the sleek, marble-lined bistro by Scott Pickett, the chef and restaurateur behind Estelle, Smith St Bistro, Matilda and more. In a heritage-listed building in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the restaurant is renowned for European fare, old-world opulence, and an extensive selection of local and international wines housed in a floor-to-ceiling cellar.

 

At the best table in the house – surrounded by cosy leather banquettes, views of the kitchen and ornate candelabras – you’ll start with champagne and a few snacks that will surprise and delight. Then, settle in for an exclusive five-course menu designed by head chef Pak Tam. There’s citrus beetroot-cured kingfish and Wagyu beef tartare to start, followed by show-stopping mains like dry-aged duck served with apple chutney. And to finish, a delicate dark chocolate souffle. At the end of the meal you’ll receive a take-home copy of the menu signed by Pickett himself. 

 

Only Access members can get this experience at Chancery Lane. Limited spots are available, so be quick to make your reservation.

 

Seatings are for two, at 6:30pm, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
