Experience Al Dente over five courses – including pasta stuffed with Northern Italian cheese, a cocktail available only to Access members, and a milk and honey dessert served by the owners personally – with the Broadsheet Table.

 

One of the city’s best new Italian eateries invites you to try its new menu. Al Dente is Carlton’s swish fine-diner by Italian chefs and business partners Andrea Vignali and Davide Bonadiman.  At the Broadsheet Table, seated in the restaurant’s cosy enoteca, you’ll be greeted with snacks and a cocktail available only to Access members. Then, settle in for a five-course degustation of seasonal classics. 

 

Expect elegant pasta dishes like paccheri with greens, ‘nduja and yellowfin tuna toro, a delicate ocean trout dressed in citrus and ponzu, and a milk and honey dessert served personally by Vignali and Bonadiman. You’ll also have the option to add on a bottle (or three) of Italian or Australian wine.

 

At the end of the night, you’ll be given a take-home pack to recreate Al Dente’s signature pasta at home. You might try crab ravioli or Al Dente’s famed cacio e pepe tortellini – but all will be revealed on the night.
