It’s the 25th Biennale of Sydney – a celebration of contemporary art with a special focus on First Nations creatives. Showcasing 83 artists and collectives from 37 countries, this year’s festival is titled Rememory, inviting participants to revisit, reconstruct and reclaim histories that have been erased or overlooked.

Broadsheet Access members can get up close and personal with it all during our Biennale of Sydney Exclusive After Dark Tour on Friday, June 5. Guests will be taken on an expert private art tour around the White Bay Power Station to learn more about the significant works on site. Then there will be time to enjoy the art in a relaxed small-group atmosphere – just you and your fellow Access members.

Afterwards, you’ll score two complimentary drinks at the bar and enjoy live music till 9.30pm at Art After Dark. The June 5 session is headlined by Kenyan-born hip hop and alt-R&B artist Elsy Wameyo, whose soul-infused performances tell stories of fearlessness and redemption. Supporting her is Riah, a singer-songwriter from southwest Sydney influenced by the sounds of ’90s R&B.
