The cult gelateria is launching a series of intimate chocolate-making classes at its Fitzroy HQ and is inviting Access members to experience it first.

 

Pidapipo’s Fitzroy Laboratorio does more than just gelato; it also produces single-origin specialty chocolate bars and chocolate-coated panning products (including its standout hazelnut riff on Ferrero Rochers). Everything’s made by passionate master chocolatier Arno Backes, who’ll be leading a new series of chocolate-making classes inside the store’s state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled room.

 

To celebrate, Pidapipo is opening its very first class exclusively to Access members.

 

It’s a two-hour, hands-on class where you’ll learn everything there is to know about chocolate-making from Backes himself (and do plenty of tastings along the way). Make Pidapipo’s signature chocolate gems – tempering, moulding and filling them yourself – before taking them home with you, alongside a chocolate bar of your choice and Pidapipo’s gelato cookbook.
