To mark World Oceans Day 2025, Australian fine jeweller Sarah & Sebastian has released the final instalment of its ocean conservation film series Now You See Me. Broadsheet Access members have been invited to the private premiere screening.
Directed by Alice Wesley-Smith and co-created by Sarah Gittoes, the film explores Western Australia’s remote Ningaloo coastline – home to whale sharks, manta rays, dugongs, and endangered sawfish – while exposing the critical role of Exmouth Gulf as a marine nursery and its exclusion from World Heritage protection.
The campaign calls on Australians to sign a petition urging reform of the outdated Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (1999), and aims to enforce national environmental standards, reject climate-damaging developments, support habitat restoration and include First Nations leadership.
The film will premiere at an exclusive screening on June 4 at the State Library of New South Wales, ahead of its public release and World Oceans Day.
Simply log in, or become an Access member today, for your chance to score the exclusive double pass. The waitlist opens from 4pm on Tuesday June 3.
