The Prague-born collage artist is hosting a workshop to celebrate the inaugural Visual Arts Club exhibition and Access members are invited to experience it first. 

On October 7, you’re invited to attend a collage workshop with artist Kubi Vasak at Rainbow Studios. Kubi Vasak, renowned for his contemporary collage creations showcased in London, New York, and Barcelona, will be sharing his expertise in an interactive three-hour workshop. Through his artistic journey, Vasak has mastered the art of using collage. His technique involves intricately hand-cutting paper to assemble collages that uncover the inherent absurdity and humour of life. 

At this one-off workshop, you’ll learn about specific collage styles, colour, balance, texture, form, glueing and image placement. Prepare for an afternoon of art-class nostalgia where you’ll flick through vintage magazines and books and unleash your creativity through hands-on crafting.  

Tickets are $60 per person and includes all needed equipment and refreshments.
