NZ couple Lydia Harfield and Mat Watkins launched small-batch condiment label Apostle in 2019, when they started peddling their wares at a local village market on the Kāpiti Coast. They now sell at over 200 stores in four different countries, but they still rely on locally grown ingredients – from cold-pressed NZ rapeseed oil to kawakawa from their garden. And they still turn out beautifully presented sauces and seasonings that are almost too pretty for the pantry. Choose from a wide range of tasty products including crispy chilli oil, kimchi ketchup, chaat masala seasoning, and chocolate and manuka smoked chipotle hot sauce.
