An Exclusive After-Hours Look at the NGV’s World-Premiere: The Picasso Century Exhibition
Excited to see The Picasso Century exhibition at the NGV? Want to avoid the crowds? Access is sending you to an after-hours, private viewing of The Picasso Century – with a glass of bubbles, transport covered and a Q&A with the NGV’s curator – for just $35. And there’s just 100 tickets.
We’re celebrating the opening of the NGV’s The Picasso Century with an exclusive, Access-only viewing of this blockbuster exhibition on June 29. See more than 70 masterpieces from the revolutionary Spanish artist, curated by two French art institutions: Centre Pompidou and the Musée National Picasso-Paris. Through 15 themed sections, travel through Picasso’s distinct art periods, including his Blue Period and cubism. You’ll also find 100 works from Picasso’s contemporaries – many of whom are rarely exhibited in Australia – to put Picasso’s extraordinary influence in context.
Start in a secluded space in the gallery with a glass of bubbles in hand, where you’ll hear first-hand insights in a Q&A hosted by Broadsheet’s editorial director Katya Wachtel and NGV’s Curator of International Exhibitions, Meg Slater. You’ll then have the chance to explore the exhibition in an after-hours, private viewing.
Your transport is sorted for the evening with a $30 voucher* from taxi and rideshare aggregator app Placie. Simply download Placie and use code ACCESSNGV when booking your ride through the app.
And if you’re keen for a bite in the city, head to one of our favourite spots and make a night of it.
There are just 100 tickets to this exclusive event, so be quick to reserve yours via the link below.
