The French artist was known for his colourful post-impressionist paintings and prints, and is being celebrated in NGV’s Melbourne Winter Masterpieces ® exhibition Pierre Bonnard: Designed by India Mahdavi. We’re celebrating the opening of NGV’s Melbourne Winter Masterpieces ® exhibition, Pierre Bonnard: Designed by India Mahdavi, with a private, Access-only viewing on July 17. Feel like you’ve stepped into more than 100 of the post-impressionist painter’s iridescent works in a scenography curated by influential architect India Mahdavi. 

At this exclusive event, start in the gallery’s foyer where you’ll sip on champagne and hear first-hand insights from NGV’s Senior Curator of International Exhibition Projects, Dr Miranda Wallace, in conversation with Broadsheet’s editorial director, Katya Wachtel. You’ll then have the chance to explore the exhibition at your own pace in a private after-hours viewing.
