On July 23, the Broadsheet Access community is invited to one of the first dinners at the soon-to-open Italian restaurant Vineria Luisa. It's brought to you by the Maestro team, behind Italian restaurants Ormeggio, Postino Osteria and Cibaria.
Be greeted with a complimentary aperitivo cocktail downstairs in Luisa’s Bar and mingle before dinner. You'll hear from the restaurant’s owners, Alessandro Pavoni and his wife, Anna, in conversation with Broadsheet Sydney food and drink editor Grace MacKenzie, before ascending to the intimate upstairs dining room for a promising evening.
Vineria Luisa sits behind the eye-catching purple-and-pink salon facade on Enmore Road which previously housed Stanbuli and Bar Louise. The name is a tribute to the hairdresser which occupied the site back in the 1940s, the Marie-Louise Salon. When it opens, Vineria Luisa will be the place to go for pasta and Gin lovers alike.
