The Melbourne Sculpture Biennale, an exhibition featuring 19 leading contemporary artists, is on for five days only. Access members can attend a free private tour led by one of the exhibition directors.

The inaugural biennale exhibition, titled The Burden of Objects, will be held at the picturesque Villa Alba Museum, a heritage mansion and gardens in Kew. The initiative, developed and led by co-directors Adam Stone and Laura Couttie, champions artists working in the medium of sculpture and is designed to encourage discourse on, and enhance the visibility of, contemporary sculptural practice.

The exhibition will feature 19 leading contemporary artists based in greater Naarm/Melbourne from different backgrounds and different stages of their careers.

To celebrate, Access members are invited to a free private 40-minute guided tour on October 12, led by one of the exhibition directors. Guests are then encouraged to stay on the grounds to explore the exhibition at their own pace.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity, perfect for any art enthusiast or culture aficionado.

Places are limited. One redemption equals a single (1) admission to the tour. The Burden of Objects is open for viewing at the Villa Alba Museum from Wednesday October 9 until Sunday October 13.

Second allocation added for Sunday October 13. Tickets drop Thursday October 10 4pm.
