Orchestra Victoria is reinvigorating its performances with Meet at the Market – a series showcasing classical pieces in its new North Melbourne home, the Meat Market. And Access members are invited.

The performance on July 25 will be hosted by Stéphanie Kabanyana Kanyandekwe and led by Jonathan Lo, the music director and chief conductor of The Australian Ballet. You’ll listen to the rich sounds of Ravel, Telemann and Farrenc, complimented by the Meat Market’s distinctive heritage-meets-modern atmosphere. It’s a fresh, underground approach to the orchestra’s usual productions, opening up classical music to young audiences. 

Plus, you and a friend can enjoy drinks and nibbles from the on-site bar, including cocktails from Brogan’s Way Gin. And stick around after the performance to mingle with some of the nation’s best musicians.
