Digital gallery The Lume’s new exhibition Connection transforms paintings, photography, video works and more by First Nations artists into an immersive experience spanning 3000 square metres.

 

Step inside recreations of works by Emily Kame Kngwarreye; Tommy Watson; Anna Pitjara and 100 more artists – each digitally enhanced to move, swirl and flow all around you. Accompanying the colourful visuals is a score by First Nations musicians such as Yothu Yindi and Archie Roach. 

 

To celebrate the final weeks of Connection, the Lume is also hosting a program of special events including a one-off First Nations dining experience, art demonstrations, workshops, guided tours, wellness classes (such as yin yoga), a live performance by Alice Skye on February 4 and more.
