This Vietnamese-inspired restaurant from the Hanoi Hannah and Tokyo Tina crew is always popular – now it’s giving you access to members-only tables.

 

Enter this warmly lit space – with cork-topped tables, textured walls and a modern fit-out – for playful twists on traditional Vietnamese fare. Almost everything on the menu heroes local produce, including an Australian line-up of wines and beers (with the exception of 333 rice lager from Vietnam) and cocktails made with native ingredients. Seafood features plenty here, alongside a dedicated wok-tossed rice and noodle section.

 

Our top picks from the menu are banh mi “fingers”, flattened baguette topped with whipped chicken liver pate; beef tartare delicately tossed in egg yolk and topped with pho jelly and anchovy tapioca crisps; and cha ca-style barramundi fillet with burnt butter.

 

Every day of the week, New Quarter is giving us access to tables that have been made available for the first time through Broadsheet Access.

 

We’ve got a table for two, from Monday to Wednesday and Sunday at 7pm, and Thursday to Saturday at 6.45pm, reserved just for Access members.
