Entrecote is Southside’s charming Parisian-style eatery (and one of Melbourne’s most popular restaurants of the last decade). 

 

Inside, you’ll find a brasserie and dining room, and a quaint courtyard that draws inspiration from Paris institutions like Hotel Costes and Ralph’s. And to add to the ambience, there’s also live jazz Thursday through Saturday evenings, and a DJ spinning French vinyl on Fridays and Saturdays. 

 

While the restaurant’s signature steak frites with herb sauce is the star of the menu, it also has a raw seafood bar, a roving trolley serving caviar bumps with frozen vodka, and a late-night supper menu perfect for soaking up the grog at midnight. Plus, a range of French-inspired cocktails by Romeo Lane’s Joe Jones.
