The fine diner is a popular neighbourhood haunt for elegant Mediterranean share plates, award-winning cocktails and expansive wine list. Now it’s giving you access to members-only booths. 

 

Paris, Nice, Provence and Normandy seamlessly come together at Potts Point fine diner Franca.

 

Inside the sun-drenched dining room, jazz fills the air as guests enjoy meals from velvet chairs surrounded by walls of art. 

 

The menu reflects a twisting and turning through regional France, parts of Italy and beyond. A perfect example is the reimagined niçoise salad, here interpreted as yellow fin tuna sashimi with anchovy sauce dressing and grated cured egg yolk. The wine list is just as interesting, with 200 bottles traversing Australia, New Zealand and France’s key regions. And cocktails are curated by the award-winning Alex Raclet (Rockpool Group).  

 

Our top picks from the menu are Moreton Bay bug served with cafe de Paris butter and French baguette and Franca’s twist on duck à l’Orange, topped with buckwheat and carrots.

Get a table for three or six, from Tuesday to Sunday at 5.30pm, 6pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8pm or 8.30pm.
