Get the Broadsheet Table at Chin Chin Sydney
The neon-pink, good-time Thai eatery is always booked out – now it’s giving you access to members-only tables.
There was so much anticipation when iconic Melbourne diner Chin Chin announced it was opening its first Sydney outpost in Surry Hills back in 2017. And though it builds on the prestige of the original, Chin Chin Sydney has since independently staked its claim as one of the liveliest spots in the city.
Step into the dining room on any given night and notice a special atmosphere in the air; diners are laughing loudly across their tables, with a glass of tap wine or a cocktail in hand, ready to feast on the Thai-inspired menu. With techno beats booming in the background, it almost feels like more of a party than a restaurant.
Our top picks from the 60-dish menu are the kingfish sashimi with lime and coconut; sticky-sweet pad seuw with Wagyu beef; and Balinese roast duck with fragrant turmeric, lime and coconut sauce.
Every day of the week, Chin Chin Sydney is giving us access to tables that have been made available for the first time through Broadsheet Access.
Get a table for two or four, any night at 6pm or 8.30pm.
You can book 30 days in advance (and a minimum of two days prior) of your desired booking date.
