The Sydney restaurant is loved for its generous Greek share plates, such as pan-fried saganaki and oven-baked lamb shoulder. Now it’s giving you access to members-only tables every day of the week.
Owned by two Greek-Australians, The Apollo is a celebration of Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of Potts Point. Expect breads, dips and traditional Greek mains cooked over woodfire and served with an accompaniment of yoghurt. The set menus are always a hit here; choose from The Full Greek for all the classics, Apollo’s Feast, or The Vegan Greek.
The dining room has a minimalist feel – complete with exposed concrete, granite and brass touches – designed to hint at the rocky beauty of Greece.
Our top picks from the menu are saganaki cheese with honey and oregano; melt-in-your-mouth oven-baked lamb shoulder with Greek yoghurt; and wild weed and cheese pie.
Every day of the week, The Apollo has set aside tables just for Broadsheet Access members.
Get a table for four, from Sunday to Thursday from 5.30pm, from Friday to Sunday from 12pm, on Friday at 6pm or 8.15pm, or Saturday at 5.30pm or 7.45pm.
You can book 30 days in advance (and a minimum of two days prior) of your desired booking date.
